Reimagining a classic

For the 59th Annual Grammy Awards, Target brought more music to the GRAMMYs than ever before.

Remaking the classic 1988 rap anthem “It Takes Two” with pop princess Carly Rae Jepsen, up-and-coming rap sensation Lil Yachty, and super-producer Mike WiLL Made-it, we helped Target create one of the most talked about moments at the show. The video has over 4 million views on Youtube, and the single has over 1 million streams on Spotify.

The accompanying video, directed by Roman Coppola and choreographed by La La Land’s Mandy Moore, brought America’s Happy Place, Target, to life.
